Dear Neil

Dear Neil,

From what I understood from you that you have cerebral palsy and you are seeking treatment with umbilical stem cells. From several conversation and meeting with you in Missouri I understand that you are sick and seek seriously treatment with umbilical cord stem cells.

As you and I understand I am not your treating physician or evaluating physician.

From collecting information from you and observing you I can tell you in my repeated travels to China reviewing records and seeing patients and you can see on China stem cell website that there are a number of patients with cerebral palsy who have been treated with stem cells (umbilical cord) where 50-70% of them have improved. There was no rejection. The side effect was less than 4% and minimal on those treated. My experience with stem cells in visiting China and Thailand and evaluating patients treated are as follow:

1)      Umbilical cord stem cells have no graft to host rejection.
2)      They have been used in the United States for more than 20 years and there is not one recorded case to my knowledge that show any rejection.
3)      Beike used umbilical cord stem cells in 6,000 patients in which 1,200 of them were American, Canadian, Middle Eastern, and European. There was no rejection.
4)      I took the umbilical cord stem cells myself as well as the mesecymal stem cell treatment 80 days ago to treat my arthritis in my knees. The pain is much less than before and I am using fewer medications in addition to that I had no side effect.
5)      The result of treatment usually appears if it is going to appear within 3-6 months in its maximum manifestation. The treatment is dose related cumulative and it is no different from any other drugs that we use for treating diabetes or hypertension.
6)      To my knowledge there is no other treatment of which I know for cerebral palsy other than umbilical cord stem cells.
7)      The procedure is usually done in China where the patient can stay with a companion for a month in the hospital. He will receive umbilical cord stem cell treatment. He receives 3 injections of the stem cells in the spinal fluid and 3 injections in the blood – usually. There is a possibility of variation from this. He will receive physical therapy and acupuncture daily.

This is my experience in treating people with a neurological disease and this is a list of diseases where treatment is able to lead to an improvement. These are the diseases in which the age of the patient, stage of the disease and type of disease can be a deciding factor.

1)    Ataxia
            2)    Autism
            3)    Cerebral Palsy
            4)    Diabetic / Ischemic Foot
            5)    Epilepsy
            6)    Head Trauma
            7)    Multiple Sclerosis
            8)    Muscular Dystrophy
            9)    ONH
            10)  Spinal Cord Injury
            11)  Stroke
            12) ALS
            13)  And more to come…

I hope this information is useful to you. For more information look at stem cell China.
